As an EMF meter it works fine and as it should, but in Dialog Mode, it lights up every 1 to 3 minutes and answers. I have been testing this for the last 2 days in 30 minute sessions, at night, in the morning, and in the after noon. In side my house, and out side. After turning it on it takes 1 to 3 minutes for it to light up, it answers for 1 to 2 minutes, even with no questions asked, then the lights go out and the cycle starts over. Also there are no EMF levels found at the time of the unit being lite up.
If it is only good as an EMF meter, I would save some money and go with the Ghost Meter, Not the Ghost Meter Pro.

My brother and I went on a ghost hunt at the very haunted Tilley Pierce home in Gettysburg, PA. One of the pieces of equipment that we were allowed to use (through the company we were hunting with) was this little detector. It worked extremely well ... lit up when it sensed a presence and the meter gave very specific yes and no answers (yes, there were Union soldiers in the house!) We confirmed this by a dramatic temperature change (90 degrees to 77) and a shooting light in a corner of the room (the attic). We also had the meter that is similar to this but is not the "Pro" version. When the presence came in the room, the lights of both meters lit up at the same time and the alarm sounded on the less expensive meter. We were the only two people in the room and there was no possibility of contamination ... this worked great!

This meter does what it says it will do. But it is also set on some sort of timer, so that on the supposed dialogue setting, this meter is timed to beep and flash every two minutes, regardless of whether or not you asked a spirit questions. Same with the other settings. If you hold it up to a cell phone, it flashes. But it also flashes when it isn't near anything, on timed intervals, so that unless you have no IQ whatsoever, you only get excited the first couple of times, then you figure it out. Not so fun after that. But for this price, not like you should expect anything more than a mildly sophisticated toy, either.
